Open Enrollment 2018 - 2019 begins Thursday November 1st, 2018

The open enrollment period for new Harmony Public Schools students is approaching fast.

Open Enrollment for campuses statewide begins Nov. 1 and continues through Feb. 10 for students wishing to enroll for the Fall 2019 semester.

What is Harmony?

Harmony Public Schools is a system of exceptional PreK-12 college-preparatory charter schools in Texas, specializing inScience, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

What comes with a Harmony Public Schools education?

The Harmony Public Schools system is frequently recognized as one of the best school systems in Texas for its well-rounded curriculum with a special emphasis on STEM education.

In 2018, six of districts received ‘A’ ratings from the Texas Education Agency on its annual state accountability ratings. The TEA also found that all of Harmony’s campuses earned a “Met Standard” rating in its 2018 STARR testing.

Harmony also has a 100 percent college acceptance rate system-wide among our graduating seniors.

What is our enrollment process?

Open enrollment for Harmony Public Schools statewide begins Nov. 1 and continues through Feb. 10. Our application and instructions for submission can be found online or at any of our campus offices. In the event the number of qualified applicants exceeds the maximum enrollment at any campus, a lottery is held at the end of February to fairly fill the available openings.

Do the FAFSA | The earlier the better

Hello senior parents and students!

As we mentioned on our Senior Night, we have a FAFSA workshop coming up! FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid which is a MUST for your student to get financial aid for both community and 4-year colleges. We will also have support for students filling out TASFA. We will have access to computers and experts, college counselors will be helping you and your family to complete this form during the event. Please fill out this form at school website as an RSVP.

The session is in the high school computer lab on Tuesday, October 9th at 6 pm. Food and soft drink will be provided!

To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the student will need:

Social Security Number
Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
Parent 2017 federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
An FSA ID for parent and student to sign electronically.
