Attention Latin American Students.   Leadership Summit February 3rd.

Flyer for Latin American Student Leadership Summit

You are invited to participate Girl STEM Academy.

Girls STEM Academy is a gender-specific program designed to encourage middle-school girls to apply science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts and skills through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Participants engage in innovative and creative applications of science content. Students will problem-solve, build confidence in construction, experiment with engineering challenges and learn about robotics, technology and engineering through hands-on activities. The Girls STEM Academy curriculum is developed to spark interest in STEM careers and support state and national initiatives to improve math and science performance. The program meets the needs of diverse learners and ultimately addresses the under-representation of women in STEM fields.

If you are interested in STEM and you would like to participate please submit a 300 word essay letting us know why you would like to be part of this program.

You may include: What you want to be when you grow up and what you would like to do to make a difference in your school.

  • Math grade: 80 and above
